Tired Of The Mud Slinging - And Response

Saturday, July 19, 2014

I am so tired of the mud slinging that is going on in the 3rd U.S. House race and the 27th State House race.  This reminds me of the first time Zach Wamp ran and very late in the campaign the ads on television showed a photo of Zach with someone off camera throwing mud on the photo and  saying negative things about Zach.

Why can't the people discuss the issues and what they want for us of this district?  Could it be they do not have answers to those  questions.

Lets vote for Weston and Patsy, at least they will tell us what they hope to do for us.  They have taken the high road on this character-destroying act.

I have been actively watching the District 27 House race, and I have seen no mud-slinging on the part of Tommy Crangle's campaign.  As a small business owner, if I have a vacancy for a truck driver, any applicant should expect me to check his/her driving record.  As an "applicant" for a legislative seat who will vote on policy, a candidate's voting record is relevant information, and all candidates should expect to have their public voting record checked.

In fact, candidates should be willing to discuss up-front how they have voted in the past and why. To try to hide it from the voters or infer that discussing it is mud-slinging is really just dishonest.

Vote for Tommy Crangle.  He is a good, decent man who is a true conservative, has a great resume, and has nothing to hide in his voting record.

A Crying Shame At Orange Grove

I think it is a crying shame that the recycling program at Orange Grove was dumped. Obviously, most folks don't realize how important it is for these precious people to have a job that they can do, without being bullied and made the object of jokes for the so called, "normal people". I know firsthand how job programs in places of employment don't care if their employees use ... (click for more)

You Couldn't Make This Up

After watching the last four days of the Democrat Convention in Philadelphia I honestly don't believe Mel Brooks or Carl Reiner could have written a more hilarious scenario. First on Sunday we get the first WikiLeaks drop showing that the DNC sat around making derogatory comments about three of their most loyal constituencies; blacks, Hispanics and Jews (even questioning Bernie ... County Commissioner Greg Beck said it was inappropriate for fellow Commissioner Tim Boyd to include articles critical of the late Cleveland Grimes in a 57-page report on the Hamilton County Water and Wastewater Treatment Authority.
