Tired Of The Mud Slinging - And Response

  • Saturday, July 19, 2014

I am so tired of the mud slinging that is going on in the 3rd U.S. House race and the 27th State House race.  This reminds me of the first time Zach Wamp ran and very late in the campaign the ads on television showed a photo of Zach with someone off camera throwing mud on the photo and  saying negative things about Zach.

Why can't the people discuss the issues and what they want for us of this district?  Could it be they do not have answers to those  questions.

Lets vote for Weston and Patsy, at least they will tell us what they hope to do for us.  They have taken the high road on this character-destroying act.

I have been actively watching the District 27 House race, and I have seen no mud-slinging on the part of Tommy Crangle's campaign.  As a small business owner, if I have a vacancy for a truck driver, any applicant should expect me to check his/her driving record.  As an "applicant" for a legislative seat who will vote on policy, a candidate's voting record is relevant information, and all candidates should expect to have their public voting record checked.

In fact, candidates should be willing to discuss up-front how they have voted in the past and why. To try to hide it from the voters or infer that discussing it is mud-slinging is really just dishonest.

Vote for Tommy Crangle.  He is a good, decent man who is a true conservative, has a great resume, and has nothing to hide in his voting record.
