Lookouts' Sunday Double-Header At Mobile Is Rained Out

Montgomery Comes To AT&T Field Monday

The heavy rains that have drenched much of the south the past few days played havoc with the Lookouts' series at Mobile. Sunday afternoon the decision was made to call off the two scheduled 7-inning games. 

The Lookouts will open a five-game series with the Montgomery Biscuits. Monday's game begins at 7:15 p.,m.


Lady Flames Softball Splits Double Header With Valdosta State

The Lee softball team split Friday's doubleheader with No. 5 Valdosta State from Butler Field with a commanding 6-1 victory in game one followed by a nail-biting, 4-3 loss in 10 innings in game two. Covenant Baseball Wins Two At William Peace

 The Covenant baseball team took a doubleheader sweep from William Peace on Friday evening in USA South play. The Scots took game one 3-2 before rallying in game two for a 9-8 victory at the USA Baseball National Training Facility in Cary.  The game one win gave head coach Doug Simons his 200th career coaching victory. Motorcyclist Killed In Wreck On E. 34th Street

Brandon Tuders, 21, was killed in a motorcycle accident Friday afternoon.   Chattanooga Police Officers responded to a single vehicle motorcycle crash in the 1900 block of East 34th Street.   The accident occurred at approximately  12 p.m.  Witnesses said the motorcycle was traveling east on 34th Street on the wrong side of the road in a curve. ... Firefighters Respond To House Fire Friday Afternoon On Cameron Lane

The  Chattanooga Fire Department responded to 4921 Cameron Lane on a residential house fire on Friday around  12:30 p.m. The homeowner said that he returned home to see smoke coming from his roof top vents.
