Crangle Says He Got "A" Rating From NRA

  • Monday, July 21, 2014

The Team To Elect Tommy Crangle announced Monday an “A” Rating from the National Rifle Association.  Since he is not currently an elected official, his rating was “AQ” based upon the results of the questionnaire he completed for the national gun rights organization.  His opponent, Patsy Hazlewood, received only a “?” (question mark) rating, indicating a refusal to return the questionnaire, the Crangle campaign said.

“I am very pleased with the “A” rating from the NRA,” Mr.

Crangle said.  “I have always been a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment and the NRA has recognized that commitment.  Voters in District 27 should have little doubt that, as their State Representative, I will stand up to federal or state officials who have designs on limiting these God-given rights.”

In addition, the Tennessee Firearms Association gave Crangle the highest ranking possible on its candidate survey.  Ms. Hazlewood received the lowest rating possible, the Crangle campaign said.
