St. Timothy's Hosts Reception Honoring Bill Chapman

There will be a reception honoring Bill Chapman for his many years of service as our Parish Administrator at a reception this Sunday in the Parish Hall from 9:30 to 10:15 A.M.

The Isidore’s Garden gardeners need grass clippings to mulch around veggies. The garden plots have been weeded, watered and carrots transplanted. Mayor Berke's Homeless Veterans Committee is seeking a running vehicle for a young veteran whom the Community Kitchen has recently helped pass his boards and obtain work. Man Shot In The Leg By Police On Tunnel Boulevard

A man was shot in the leg by police after responding to a disorder with a weapon call on Tunnel Boulevard on Saturday night.   The suspect suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.   Officers responded at 7:27 p.m. in the 400 block of Tunnel Boulevard.   Police said, "Upon arrival officers located a male suspect matching the description given by witnesses ... Floyd Charged With Fighting Police Officer On Station Street In Incident Caught On Video

Police have charged 21-year-old William Alexander Floyd after a fight with an officer on Station Street that was caught on video and quickly shared on social media. Floyd, of Ringgold, Ga., was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, vandalism, public intoxication and resisting arrest.
