Motorcyclist Breaks Leg After Truck Pulls In Front Of Him

A motorcyclist suffered a broken leg in an accident on Friday.

It happened on Highway 27 in Sale Creek.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said a truck pulled in front of the motorcycle that was going north.

The injured biker was taken to a local hospital.

Another Truck Wrecks On Retro Hughes Road

Another truck wrecked Tuesday afternoon on Retro Hughes Road. A different truck wrecked last Thursday at the same curve. Both were headed to a site where a new hangar is being built.  The truck that wrecked on Tuesday was carrying the doors for the hangar.     (click for more)

County Commission Extends Terms Of Magistrates Randy Russell, Sharetta Smith

The County Commission on Wednesday gave one-year contract extensions to Randy Russell and Sharetta Smith. The commission was also set to continue Mr. Russell as the chief magistrate.
