12,640 Have Voted Early In Hamilton County So Far

There have been 12,640 Hamilton County residents go to the polls thus far during early voting leading up to the Aug. 7 election.

That includes 9,290 getting Republican ballots and 3,039 Democratic.

Dalton Police Investigate Pedestrian Fatality Thursday Night

The Dalton Police Department is investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian Thursday night. Early indications are that the victim was attempting to cross Chattanooga Road near the intersection with Tibbs Road and ran in front of a pickup truck.
