After Watching The Debate, I'm For Wamp

Thursday, July 3, 2014

I had not decided for whom I would vote until I watched the debate.  I am a 78-year-old life long Republican who deeply resents the Tea Party trying to take over our party and referring to Republicans like me as RINOS when, in fact, they are the real RINOS.  This compassionless minority, to which Congressman Fleischmann belongs, has done great damage to our party and our country.  I am sick of their my way or the highway approach to legislation which causes unending gridlock.

I was very pleased to see Wamp take a, come let us reason together, position to the many difficult issues facing our country.  He is the real Reagan Republican as demonstrated by his compassionate and sensible position on comprehensive immigration reform.

We have an opportunity to express our displeasure with the do nothing Congress by saying on election day that we do not consider compromise to be a bad word by voting for  a voice of reason.  I will vote for Wamp.

Thank You, Jacqui Helbert

If we ever needed an example of why NPR should be stripped of federal funding it is the recent dust-up about the firing of the so-called journalist Jacqui Helbert by WUTC.  Can someone tell me why my tax money should be used to fund a left wing operation with the likes of Bill Moyers, Nina Totenberg and Garrison Keillor nationally and this little Woodward and Bernstein wannabe ... Lindsey Leads Unbeaten Baylor Past Marion County

There are quite a few new names and faces in the lineup for Baylor’s softball team this spring, but the Lady Red Raiders are the two-time Division II state champs, so it’s more a case of reloading than rebuilding. It’s still early in the season and there’s a lot of key games coming up, but the Lady Raiders are clicking on all cylinders at this point and are now 8-0 following ... (click for more)
