Betty Brown Roberson, 90, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in a local health care facility. She was a loving, caring, compassionate and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Elizabeth Brown, son, Kenneth Roberson and husband, Charles A. “Robbie” Roberson.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Elaine) Roberson, Harrison; daughter, Pat (Martin) Harris, Etowah, N.C.; three grandchildren, Tripp (Michelle) Harris III, Belmont, N.C., Charles Harris, Etowah, NC; and Misty Haynes, Chattanooga; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Dewayne Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Zoo, 301 North Holtzclaw Ave. Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.
