Lora Trotter
Lora Marie Trotter, 50, of Chattanooga, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014.
Lora graduated from Hixson High School in 1982 and attended UTC. Lora was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. She was a longtime volunteer for the school and church where she was known for her organizational skills. Lora worked in the financial industry for many years. She loved animals, to cook and garden. She was an avid UT Vols and NASCAR fan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Milan Gorenshek, maternal grandfather, Louis Nemeth, maternal grandmother, Anna Nemeth, fraternal grandfather, Frank Gorenshek, and fraternal grandmother, Johanna Gorenshek.
Survivors include her husband, Will Trotter, daughter, Hayley Trotter, mother, Lois Gorenshek, sister, Lisa (Grant) Gorenshek Dobson, nieces, Abbie, Chloe, and Sofia Dobson and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 2, from 10-11:30 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church.
A memorial mass service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, at St. Jude Catholic Church with burial to follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, with Father Charlie Burton officiating.
