Self-Employed Carpenter For 35 Years Built Many Homes In Catoosa County

Thomas “Bud” Franklin Stapp, 73, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at his residence.

A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, he was a self-employed carpenter for 35 years, during which time he built many homes in the Catoosa County area. Bud was well-known and liked in Ringgold and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Emmett and Georgia Arizona Corey Stapp; brother, James Stapp and sister, Dorothy Thompson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Kathleen Dempsey Stapp of Ringgold; and sister-in-law, Jean Stapp of Ringgold.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
