The Chattanooga Track Club recently made a monetary donation of $1,500 to the Chattanooga Jets Track Club from proceeds gathered at this year's Chattanooga Chase 8K.

More than 230 runners gathered in Riverview on Sunday, May 25 for the annual trek on one of the toughest yet most scenic race courses in the city.  Members of the Chattanooga Jets were present that day and served as volunteers in various significant capacities.

The Chattanooga Jets is a club formed in 1979 which provides young people an opportunity to learn fundamentals and techniques of track and field while learning good sportsmanship and leadership skills.

Financial support allows these young people to compete on a regional, state and even national level.
