Dexter Talley, Sr.
Dexter “Deck” Talley, Sr., 60, died on Saturday, June 28, 2014.
Dexter is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anita Talley; children, Monica, Duana and Dexter, Jr.; four grandchildren; father, Norman Talley, Sr.; brothers, Norman (Sadie) Talley, Jr., Anthoney Talley; sisters, Remon (Rodney) McGee and Arlease Foy; aunt, Doris Paris; uncle, Alton Hall; host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, in the chapel. Interment will be in National Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Tuesday, July 8, and the family will receive friends from 6–7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
