Dorothy Clift
Dorothy L. Clift, 83, of Soddy Daisy, died on Monday, July 7, 2014.
Dorothy was preceded in death by two husbands, Billy E. Clift and Herchel Clift; father and mother, Willis and Elizabeth May; brother, Vincent (Bunk) May.
Survivors include her son, James B. Clift; daughter, Patricia A. Dennis; grandsons, Robert Jeffrey and William Tracy Brown; 2 great grandchildren, Joshua T. and Alexis L. Brown; sister, Shirley (Leck) Wilson; brothers, Dewey (Martha) and David (Carrie) May and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 10, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Carl Hunsucker and Father Charlie Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Presbyterian Cemetery with Jeff Brown, Tracy Brown, Joshua Brown, Robbie Burns, Zack Ward, Paul Cole and Bret May serving as pallbearers.
Visitation is on Wednesday, July 9, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
