Anthony Santora
East Ridge Police received a call on Tuesday that a young girl at 6950 Martha Ave. had seen two men she did not know pull into the yard in a truck and remove a four wheeler and small dirt bike from a barn on the property.
The suspects, later identified as brothers, Andrew Santora, 27, and Anthony Santora, 25, of East Ridge, left the scene with the stolen property in the bed of the truck.
The witness had also called her parents, and they were en route back to the residence when they noticed the suspect vehicle leaving the area. They followed the suspects in their own vehicle without confronting them and called police to provide updates as to the suspects' location.
East Ridge Police caught up to the suspects at the intersection of Market Street and 20th Street in Chattanooga. An attempted traffic stop resulted in a short vehicle pursuit followed by a foot pursuit.
The suspects were soon taken into custody by Chattanooga and East Ridge officers.
Anthony and Andrew Santora are each charged with burglary and theft over $500. Anthony Santora was also charged with driving on a revoked license.
They are scheduled to appear in East Ridge Court on July 22.
