Lillian Sterling Elofson, 75, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in a local hospital.
She was a homemaker and active at the Senior Center on Urbane Rd. She was of Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenda and Harold Sterling, Jr.; and her first husband, William Landon.
She is survived by her husband, John Elofson of Cleveland; children, Jody Matthews of Norfolk, VA and Sharon Landon of Crisfield, MD; granddaughter, Sarah Matthews pf Norfolk, VA; and step-sister, “Trudy”.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 4, in the chapel of Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 4 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Monday, August 4 at the Grissom Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
