Joyce Epps
Joyce Aline Watkins Epps, 80, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, died on Friday, August 8, 2014.
A lifelong resident of the Catoosa County area, she was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Epps; parents, Lloyd and Hazel Shook Watkins; three brothers, Harold, Gene and Ben Watkins and half sister, Juanita Brown.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Michael Dillard of Tunnel Hill; two sons and daughter-in-law, Roger and Cindy Epps of Tunnel Hill, and Mitchell Epps of Tunnel Hill; three sisters, Betty Jo Self of Dalton, Martha Daniels of Chatsworth, and Sarah Hamilton of Ringgold; two brothers and sister-in-law, Randall and Naomi Watkins of Ringgold, and Wayne Watkins of Tunnel Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Sam Dillard officiating. Interment will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 11, from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday, until funeral time at the funeral home.
