MerylAnne Dexter Is Miss Rocky Top 2015

Signal Mountain's MerylAnne Dexter will be returning to the Miss Tennessee Pageant next June after being selected Miss Rocky Top in Knoxville on Saturday night.  

The GPS graduate is a senior at Brigham Young University where she is majoring in Genetics and Biotechnology and aspires to become a genetics counselor.  She won overall talent and a $500 scholarship.  

Her community service platform is the Make-A-Wish Foundation.


Concert Series At Dalton College Continues With Trio Performance

Man Seriously Injured in Apartment Fire On Hickory Valley Road

A Chattanooga man was seriously injured in an apartment fire Tuesday  night . The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm around  7:15 p.m.  and responded to Evergreen Apartments at 1507 Hickory Valley Road with six fire companies.
