Vince Dean Applauds Those Who Voted

Monday, August 11, 2014

I would like to thank the voters of Hamilton County for taking time out of their schedules last week and voting.  Everyone that voted is to be applauded. No matter who you voted for, you did your civic duty, by voting.

I am humbled by the support I received during the election.  My heartfelt respect goes out to my opponent.  Gwen Tidwell is a fine lady and should be commended for her service: I have said from day one that I have the utmost respect for her and that has not changed during this election.

My goal was always to deal with issues and not personalities. I feel that I remained true to that pledge.

I look forward to meeting the fine hard workers of the Criminal Court clerk's office in the near future. My message to them is simple. Keep on doing your job.  This was a hard fought campaign, but it is behind us and we move forward.

Vince Dean
