New Community Food Bank Opens In Apison Thursday

A new Community Food Bank will be opening Thursday at 11302 First St. in Apison.   The Grand Opening for Heaven’s Bounty will begin at 1 p.m.  

There will be music, refreshments and several elected officials attending to kick off this new community food bank for the Apison, Ooltewah and Chattanooga areas.   

The food pantry will begin distributing food at 1:30 p.m. to area families that need a helping hand to feeding their families.   

The public is invited.
