The Evangelism School graduation will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 2305 E. Third St.   Guest speaker will be the Rev. William Ryan, ll, pastor of Greater Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Athens.  The public is invited to attend.

Fall Evangelism Classes will begin Sept. 8 at the church.  The Evangelism School is a series of eight classes taught at SMBC under the curriculum of the National Evangelism Movement.

Upon completion of the curriculum, students graduate with the knowledge to fulfill the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:19-20.  The school provides an educational program that promotes evangelism in the local church and many community churches.  Currently there are students representing approximately 30 different churches in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. There is no tuition to attend the classes, but there is a small fee for books.
