No More Radio Mocs - And Response (2)

Saturday, August 16, 2014

I have faithfully listened to UTC football games on 105.1 for several years. I am a good Mocs fan. But no more radio for me.

The new station 96.1 has a range of five miles. There will be few listeners.

I am on the outs. I am disappointed.

Mr Waddell,

I assume you have a computer or a smart phone since you are on the Chattanoogan website. All one has to do is go to and click on the listen button and you may listen to the Mocs anywhere in the world.

Dr. Waddell,

You can listen to the Mocs live using iHeart radio. Just search "Chattanooga 96.1 FM" on Google and the link will open. It would be a shame if you missed broadcasts in the future.

Thank you for your many years of service to thousands of UTC graduates including me.

PS from Tom Waddell

Thanks for the response, folks, but I called the 96.1 people and they do not stream UTC football games.

Hi, Morgan. Thank you for your nice comments.

In an effort to avoid what I expect - and hope - will be large crowds on election day and having decided which candidates would get my votes, I went to the North River Civic Center this morning to do early voting. After standing outside in line for quite some time, I finally made it inside where I stood in line for several more minutes before being approached by a poll worker who ... (click for more)

Why Greg Martin Is The Best Choice For District 3

I cannot fathom electing Joe Smith for County Commission District 3. The support Joe Smith has received from Councilman Chris Anderson and other leading local Democrats is great cause to distrust his intentions.  Greg Martin is the GOP nominee for District 3, and frankly, he has an outstanding record of elected service in Hamilton County. I would describe Greg Martin as ... (click for more)

Tennessee offensive coordinator Mike DeBord, defensive coordinator Bob Shoop and tight ends coach/special teams coordinator Larry Scott spoke reporters at Wednesday's press conference in the Ray and Lucy Hand Digital Studio.
