Man Dies After Stabbing On Saturday Night

One man has died, as a result of a stabbing that occurred Saturday.

Two people were seriously hurt in a "domestic-related stabbing" on Short Tail Springs Road on Saturday.

Deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office received the call at approximately 6:25 p.m. at 8008 Short Tail Springs Road. 

When they arrived two victims were located. The man was transported by Life Force, while a woman was transported via Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services.  

Names of the victims will not be released at this time and further information pertaining to this incident will be released as it becomes available.


Dalton Police Seek Identity Of Person Of Interest In Lost Wallet Case

Soddy Daisy Man Facing Child Rape Charge

A Soddy Daisy man has been indicted by the Hamilton County Grand Jury on child rape charges. Scott A. Montgomery, 39, of 9819 Dallas Hollow Road, faces two counts. He was indicted for rape of a child and statutory rape by an authority figure. (click for more)
