The Irony Of The Black Community - And Response (2)

Tuesday, August 19, 2014

Isn't it ironic? Every other day, we hear about another member of the black community who gets shot and refuses to talk (a problem certainly not unique to Chattanooga) but when a cop is the one who shoots, they can't talk fast enough.

And when the police manage to arrest a large group of people who need to be arrested, without the assistance of the community, we hear the inevitable cries of racism.

Thousands of black people murder thousands of black people every year, with no riots and certainly no looting. Why riot and loot now? Why not worry about the bigger problem first? For every one black person killed by police (justified or not), there are thousands of black people murdered by other black people. Those people are a far bigger danger to the black community than the police. Help the police, and you'll certainly notice a big difference.

(Oh yeah, "helping" the police doesn't mean lying about what happened. Numerous "eye witnesses" stated Darren Wilson shot Michael Brown in the back. The autopsy (ordered by Brown's own family) has proven those people to be liars.)

And they wonder why there is constant tension between them and police.

A word of advice: Just as black people don't want to be labeled as criminal or lazy because of the actions of a small minority, the police don't want to be labeled because of the actions of a small minority. The principle works both ways. If you want your community cleaned up, it has to start from within. Until then, you can expect more of the same.

Mr Dothard, I read your letter. My guess is you are white. I reread your letter changing white for black, it makes sense that way too. While we are discussing race, what about the human race? It can be pretty despicable too. Just like Eldridge Cleaver said,  "If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem."

So I have to be curious. If you go into a restaurant and get waited on by a black server, are you going to treat that person with the same decorum and respect you would a white server? Or will you prejudge and determine? What if it is the delivery guy? Just asking.

God sees all of us, you don't.

Its not about a black thing in Ferguson, its about a group of ignorant, uneducated, jobless welfare recipients that have nothing better to do than lie, loot and be destructive.

Do you see hard-working, taxpaying citizens doing this?

Time to clean your act up people of Ferguson.

Standing Behind The Armored Truck Lane

I just wanted to say that I stand behind the city's implementation of an armored truck lane.  I do my banking downtown and see those armored truck lanes used quite extensively.  The armored truck lane provides a safe, close location for the transfer of money to and from the banks.  I do have a few complaints about the armored truck lanes, however.  They need ... Wow!  Hamilton Country School Board take a lesson from little ol' Cleveland.   Flat out fired their director of schools.  I would hope it would be primarily for his flat out stupidity as much as the lies and other indiscretions.    How many others have fallen doing such things?
