Secretary Of State Tre Hargett Speaks At Hamilton County Young Republicans Meeting

Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett will address the Hamilton County Young Republicans during their August monthly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 26.  The meeting will also feature the two new GOP nominees for State House from Hamilton County: District 27 Republican Patsy Hazlewood and District 30 Republican Marc Gravitt.

This special monthly meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the GOP Headquarters, 1428 Chestnut St., Suite E.

The Hamilton County Young Republicans hold their normal monthly meetings on the first Thursday evening of each month and are open to everyone.

Whitfield County Public Works has finished work on repairs to Mitchell Bridge Road, and it is now open for motorists to use. Final paving will be done after settling has occurred. An 18-year-old female was shot in the leg on South Seminole early Saturday morning. Chattanooga Police responded to the 200 block of South Seminole of the report of a shooting.
