Margie Jackson, 82, of LaFayette, GA, died Monday, August 18, 2014.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Ruth Kinsey Jackson; two sisters, Frances Youngblood and Syble Gilliland; and two brothers, Roy and Lester Jackson.
She is survived by one son, Gary Hornung and his fiancé Debbie Bryant, of Summerville; one sister, Thelma Jackson, of Chickamauga; one brother and sister-in-law, Howard “Bud” (Shirley) Jackson of LaFayette; special friends, Laura Taylor, Judy Stump, and Margaret O’Bryant; and sveral nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be from the Wallis Memorial Chapel Friday, August 22, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Wallin officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Point Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 22, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
