Jeff Hugh Pilkey, 59, of Etowah, TN, passed away suddenly Wednesday August 20, 2014 at a local hospital.
He was a native of Sweetwater, TN and had spent the last 24 years in McMinn County. He enjoyed fishing, farming, and especially spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nellie Pitman Pilkey; and infant brother, Jimmy Pilkey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Patricia Pilkey, of Etowah; children, Amy Sexton and husband Brandon and Jeffrey Dale Pilkey and fiancé, Stephanie May; grandchildren, Jesse Moser, Savannah Sexton, Alissa Dale and Autumn Grace Pilkey, all of Etowah; sister, Patsy Whitman, of Sweetwater; brothers, J.C. Pilkey of Sweetwater, Roy Lee Pilkey of Ten Mile and Gene Pilkey of Moultrie, GA; brother-in-law and best friend, Michael Roberts, and fiancé, Nancy Smith of Etowah; special friends Carol and Lamar Ellison of Etowah; and several other extended family members and friends.
