Joey Casteel, 59, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, died on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at his home.
He had worked as a fork life operator and was serving as a caretaker for his mother.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe L. Casteel.
Survivors include his mother, Hilda Casteel, brothers, Richard Casteel and David Casteel and several extended family members.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. at the Fairview United Methodist Church, 2112 McFarland Ave., Rossville, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the church.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, Ga.
