Another Man Shot In The Leg; Won't Cooperate With Police

  • Sunday, August 3, 2014

Another man was shot in the leg early Sunday morning and said he would not cooperate with police.

At approximately 12:20 a.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to an area hospital on a reported gunshot wound.

Brandon Stewart, 26, said he was walking on Tunnel Boulevard when a white sedan drove past and someone shot him twice in the leg.

Police said, "The victim informed investigators he did not wish to pursue prosecution and refused to cooperate any further with the investigation."

The victim was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the left leg and is listed in stable condition.

Police said, "Due to the lack of cooperation from the victim, along with the absent crime scene, this case status is unfounded."
