Mary Anne Ochsenbein, 81, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, August 31, 2014 in a local health care facility.  

She was born Nov. 5, 1932, in New Orleans, La., to the late John Harry and Annie Carmen Schubert. 

She was a correspondent with the Salvation Army and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Betty White of Rossville; Cathy Gann of Rock Springs; son, David Ochsenbein of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Paul White of Rossville; Adam Ochsenbein of Chattanooga; Amanda Kilpatrick of Chattanooga; Chris Gann of Murfreesboro; and three great-grandchildren, Minnie White, Olivia Baker, and Amelia White. 

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery. 

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the American Cancer society for Breast Cancer Research. 

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 South Moore Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37412.
