James Hewitt, 44, Was Person Killed In Wreck On Amnicola Highway

James Hewitt, 44, was the person killed in a wreck on Amnicola Highway on Sunday morning in which two people were seriously injured.

Those suffering non-life threatening injuries were the driver, Gilbert W. Payne, 33, and front-seat passenger, Brandi Wright, 41.

Mr. Hewitt was in the back seat of the vehicle.

The wreck happened at 1:49 a.m. and involved a Honda Accord that left the roadway and struck a telephone pole. 

The location is near Wilcox Boulevard.
