Brenda Carroll
United Methodist Women Sunday will be celebrated at Brainerd United Methodist Church on August 17 in the Sanctuary at both the 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services. The guest speaker is the Rev. Brenda Carroll, the new District Superintendent. A native of Russell County, VA, Brenda has served Holston Conference for 42 years, most recently co-pastoring in Maryville, TN at First United Methodist Church. Brenda and her husband, Larry, have been married for 40 years, and have two grown children.
In her spare time, Brenda enjoys flower gardening. Brenda’s message will be “Gifts of the Spirit” with emphasis on Romans 12:1-8.
