Knowles Gets 11th Term And Is Leading Votegetter

Unopposed County Clerk Bill Knowles won his 11th term on Thursday and he was the leading votegetter.

He received 42,479.

Trustee Bill Hullander tallied 40,940.

Sheriff Jim Hammond had 40,854.

Register of Deeds Pam Hurst received 39,487.

Larry Henry, who is moving from County Commission to Circuit Court clerk, gained 38,193.

County Mayor Jim Coppinger had 39,817 votes to 8,860 for Independent Richard Ford. 

There were 53,685 votes cast out of an eligible  206,044.
