Subway Robbery Victim Follows Robber To Soddy Daisy, Where Suspect Runs Out Of Gas

Police said a person who was robbed outside of the Subway on Dayton Boulevard in Red Bank began following the robber.

The pursuit led up Highway 27 to Soddy Daisy, where the robber ran out of gas.

The suspect fled into the woods.

A host of officers responded, including those from Chattanooga, Red Bank and Soddy Daisy.  K-9s tried to track him but were unable.

Red Bank Police Chief Tim Christol said, "We have him identified and warrants are being obtained."
