Mayor John Turner along with Nathan Smith and Ethan White have picked up papers for the Collegedale Commission.

Terry Turner picked up for the Ridgeside Commission.

Karen Paul Stone picked up for the Walden Commission.

The qualifying deadline is Aug. 21 at noon.

Demetrius Buchanan, 20, Shot Tuesday Evening

The Chattanooga Police Department is   investigating a shooting near 2101 McCallie Ave. Demetrius Buchanan, 20,  arrived at a local hospital via personal vehicle suffering from a single non-life-threatening injury.
