John Teague
John Mack Teague, 77, of Soddy Daisy, died on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at his residence.
He was a member of Soddy United Methodist Church and served his country in the Tennessee Army National Guard. John Mack retired from DuPont and worked at Frontrunner Athletics after his retirement. He served his community on the Bakewell Utility Commission.
John Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Hair Teague and George Ed Teague; mother-in-law, Thelma Breda and brother-in-law, Tommy Irwin.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Breda Teague; sons, Curtis (Melissa) Teague of Kingsport and John (Danielle) Teague of Cedarbluff, Mississippi and Chris (Tracy) Teague of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Jimmie Irwin and Suzanne (Paul Ed) Parrott; brother-in-law, Jack (Delores) Harris; grandchildren, Wesley Teague, Courtney Teague and Jacob Teague and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is on Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Soddy United Methodist Church.
