A Chattanooga man was arrested for rape after police said he asked a woman to meet him for dinner and then trapped her in his hotel.
According to police, 25-year-old Andre Barrow invited a woman out via Facebook after meeting her at a party. He told her to meet him at his room at the Covenant Transport Hotel.
The woman told police that they talked and watched TV for about 30 minutes before he started making advances toward her.
She said at this point, he pinned her on the bed and raped her.
After she called police, she was taken to a rape crisis center. An advocate there said her exam was consistent with what she said.
Barrow was arrested on Sept. 5, and is scheduled to appear before General Sessions Court Judge Lila Statom on Sept. 15.
