Courtney Amanda Bacigalupi,
Courtney Amanda Bacigalupi, 19, of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born in Orange, California November 27, 1994.
Courtney was a 2012 Graduate of Boyd Buchanan High School and was a Geology Major in Environmental Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was employed at Jefferson’s.
She was member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church where she was active in the Young Life Youth Ministry.
Survivors include her parents, Charlie and Kim Bacigalupi of Chattanooga; one brother, Jared Bellamy of Chattanooga; one sister, Tauni Bacigalupi of Lakewood, California; grandparents, Joe and Carolyn Sledge of Chattanooga; and Bob and Joyce Dunlap of Apple Valley, California; her boyfriend, Grant Walters of Hixson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 12-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with a memorial service beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Matt Harbison officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lula Lake Land Trust at lulalake.org.
