Community and UTC leaders will join Riverside Development on Thursday at 4 p.m., at the official groundbreaking of Douglas Heights at the corner of Douglas and 10th Street.
Upon completion of Phase 1, the new student apartment development will have 691 beds. The project will feature a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, workout facility, pool, secured parking, and individual leases.
Company and community leaders will be on hand to discuss the project along with other initiatives in the MLK district. Expected to attend are Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger, City Councilman Moses Freeman, Dr. Steve Angle, UTC chancellor, Kim White, president/CEO, River City Company, and Chris Curtis, president, Riverside Development.
