Chattanooga financial consultant Carrie Turcotte was nominated by LPL Financial to serve on the Insured Retirement Institute’s (IRI’s) Advisor Advisory Council.
The Advisor Advisory Council, comprised of approximately a dozen financial professionals, serves in an advisory capacity to Insured Retirement Institute and its board of directors. The council’s mission is to direct and provide input for financial services industry initiatives that impact financial advisors. Specific goals of the group are to provide the IRI with expert, stakeholder feedback on association priorities, information on advisor attitudes and usage of retirement strategies, assistance in increasing affinity with IRI throughout the advisor community and assistance developing an expanded marketing platform to engage advisors peer-to peer.
“I’m honored that with all of the independent advisors at LPL Financial, as well as at other firms, that I was nominated to be a voice for this committee,” said Carrie Turcotte, president of Crest Financial Strategies. “IRI works diligently to provide research and educational support to advisors and clients alike, and strives to understand, and hopefully shape, how that affects the political and regulatory landscape.
