Hamilton Place Mall, as part of the CBL Cares platform, announced plans to support Boy & Girls Clubs of Chattanooga through the “Give Kids a Winning Chance” program. The program is being conducted at CBL malls throughout the country.   This national partnership with Coca-Cola and BGCA will collect sporting equipment, arts and craft supplies, educational games and more for use at local Boys & Girls Clubs.

The “Give Kids a Winning Chance” program runs through the end of September and will collect donations of new sporting equipment, arts and craft supplies, school supplies and educational games.  Boys & Girls Club of America, one of the largest charitable and service organizations in the world will utilize all donations to enhance activities in local clubs.  Those interested in participating can stop by the donation center at the mall Tourist Information Center on the upper level by Sears. Visitors can also make a cash donation and enter to win a year's supply of Coca Cola by guessing the number of cans  used to create the oversized Coca Cola bottle on display.

In addition to collecting the needed equipment, Hamilton Place Mall will hold a finale event on Saturday, September 27 from 11a.m.-3p.m.  This day is designed to encourage all kids to stay active and healthy.  Boys and Girls Clubs of Chattanooga will be on site with games and activities including a free throw shot clinic with  Orlando Lightfoot and Johnny Taylor;  Demonstrations from Greg Roy's Tiger Rock Academy;  Coca Cola Sampling; and for a donation, kids can decorate a slice of Cookie Cake from Great American Cookie

“We are grateful for CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. and Coca-Cola’s generous support, which will help address some of the critical needs our Clubs face each day," said Chad Royal-Pascoe, national vice president corporate & cause partnerships, Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “This program will allow Boys & Girls Clubs to provide kids with the resources they need to achieve great futures as healthy, engaged and successful citizens.”

“We are honored to continue the efforts of CBL Cares with the Bottlers of Coca-Cola and adding the Boys and Girls Club of America this year, which is such a worthy cause, is sure to resonate with our family oriented shoppers, “said Barb Faucette, Vice President of Marketing for CBL.
