Bridge Christian Church Announces Rain Date For Summer Family Movie

  • Tuesday, September 2, 2014

Bridge Christian Church, in partnership with the City of Chattanooga, will show its final summer movie of the season (originally scheduled for August) at Heritage Park on Friday, Sept. 19.  Because of inclement weather, both the July and August Movies in the Park at Dark were cancelled. Locals and visitors are invited to come out for the free community event.

Details about the family movie being shown are available at www.bridgechristian.org

Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and to arrive early.  From 6 – 8 p.m., there will be inflatables set up for children to enjoy, popcorn will be served and beverages will be available for purchase.  The family-friendly movie will be shown on a large inflatable screen at Heritage Park, and will begin at dark.

Heritage Park is located at 1428 Jenkins Road.  The 22-acre park has a walking track, playground, picnic tables, bocce ball court, public art and an off-leash dog park.
