2 People, Possibly A 3rd Shot On Wilson Street; One Victim Had "Life-Threatening" Wounds

Two people were shot on Wilson Street on Sunday night, including one who was seriously injured. One was a juvenile, and the other has been identified as Justin Common, 19.

At approximately 8:22 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the Woodlawn Apartments at 2300 Wilson St. for shots fired in the area.

Officers located two black males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The juvenile was transported by HCEMS to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Common was also transported by HCEMS to a local hospital but for life-threatening injuries. He is listed in stable condition.

It was initially believed there was a third victim who suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound but that individual left the scene prior to speaking with investigators and was not transported by HCEMS.  Chattanooga Police cannot confirm there is a third victim at this time.
