Garage Employee Indicted By Bradley County Grand Jury

Bradley County Chief Deputy Brian Smith announced Tuesday that a BCSO garage employee has been indicted by the Bradley County Grand Jury for theft under $500.

The grand jury has returned a true bill charging Douglas Albritton regarding the taking of a set of tires that occurred in September, 2013. 

Chief Smith said, “Upon taking office, we were made aware by the district attorney’s office of the investigation involving the taking of tires which were county property for personal use which occurred under the prior administration.” 

The Office of District Attorney conducted the investigation and Mr.
Albritton has been placed on administrative leave without pay pending the resolution of this matter.
