Gloria Huckabee Baker, 74, died on September 24, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born in Long Island, Al. on June 29, 1940. She enjoyed traveling, camping, water skiing, canoeing, and was a business woman having worked at Chattanooga Shooting, vice president for First Federal Saving and Loan for 15 years, and retiring from Huckabee Bonding Company as an accountant. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Huckabee and Margret Reynolds Huckabee and brother, Gary Huckabee.

Survivors include her children, Jerry York of Chattanooga, Karen (Don) Smith of Spanish Fort, Al., brother, Johnny (Judy) Huckabee of Chattanooga; sister, Evelyn Ricketts of Killeen, Tx.., four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 3 p.m. in the south Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, Sept. 26, from 4-8 p.m.at the funeral home and on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
