Oakwood, Ga. – The Dalton State men captured first place in the seven-team North Georgia Cross Country Invitational, hosted by the University of North Georgia, on Saturday.

The Roadrunners scored 25 points with an average 8k time of 26:28 and a total time of 2:13.59. The top three runners, and seven of the top 14, were all from Dalton State.

Spencer Head led the way with a time of 25:54.

Paul Patterson was second at 26:27. Brody Cook was just behind at 26:52.

Paul Schupp finished 8th out of the 71 competitors (27:08). Parker Cook was 11th (27:38). Jacob Robinson finished 12th (27:41) and Issac Pacheco was 14th (27:58).
