Several Lane Closures Scheduled This Week

Robbins Street between Glenwood Drive and North Chamberlain Avenue will be closed beginning Tuesday, September 2 at 8:30, for the continued expansion of Memorial’s campus.  The closure duration will be 2 ½ months, scheduled to reopen by Saturday, November 15.   

The southbound curb lane of the 800 block of Central Avenue will be closed beginning Wednesday, September 3 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. for three days.  Project completion is expected by 4 p.m. on Friday, September 5. 

West 6th Street between Market Street and Broad Street will be closed on Saturday, September 6, for HVAC maintenance.  Hours of operation will be 7 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday only.  Detours will be posted.



Roberts Mill Road To Be Closed Thursday For Maintenance

The Hamilton County Highway Department will close Roberts Mill Road on  Thursday, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  for maintenance and gate repair.   Advance warning signs have been posted. (click for more)

Rescues On The Runway Set for March 24

The Chattanooga Police Department's top traffic reconstruction expert testified Tuesday that when he first viewed the scene of an horrific crash at the Ooltewah exit he thought "Man, this truck just creamed a dozen cars." Taji Webb, 26, Shot And Killed Monday Night; Shooter Will Not Be Charged

Taji Webb, 26, was shot and killed Monday night.
