HomeServe employees donate one of their former technician pickup trucks to the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga Area, Inc. HomeServe participated with HFHGCA in a neighborhood revitalization project on Citico Ave. in Chattanooga on Sept. 25. This is the 6th time that HomeServe employees in Chattanooga have participated in a HFHGCA build. James Johnson, HomeServe’s Contact Center director, Dale Jones, Human Resources business partner at HomeServe and the twelve employees who participated on the project, presented the donated pickup truck to David Butler, executive director of HFHGCA.
The pickup truck will help Habitat more efficiently transport materials and equipment to build sites around the Chattanooga area to help construct affordable housing in the local community.
“To be a successful business, we believe we must also be a responsible one, and our employees selected Habitat for Humanity as a charitable organization for our company to support,” said Tom Rusin, chief executive officer of HomeServe USA.
“Habitat aligns with our core business and we are honored to help them achieve their mission of providing people in need with simple, decent, safe and affordable housing. We look forward to continuing our partnership with them.”
