New Bradley County Sheriff Eric Watson on Thursday helped talk a man to surrender who was threatening harm to himself and the deputies.
Bradley County deputies responded to a call regarding suspicious persons at a residence on Benton Pike.
Upon arrival ,deputies encountered a male carrying an object wrapped in a shirt that appeared to be a firearm.
After approximately two hours of negotiation by Sheriff Watson and Deputy Doug Boucher, the man surrendered without incident.
He was identified as Franklin Osborne. After initial transport to Skyridge Medical Center for treatment, Osborne is being held at the Bradley County Justice Center as a fugitive from Catoosa County, Ga.
A female at the scene was taken into custody as well.
