Frank Kubiaczyk
Frank Kubiaczyk, 72, of Rossville, died on Friday, September 5, 2014.
He was born in Antigo, Wi., to the late Walter Frank and Laura Kubiaczyk, but had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was a member of Anchor of Hope Baptist Church. He was an Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam War and was previously employed with Combustion Engineering for more than 20 years and retired from the City of Fort Oglethorpe Maintenance Department after more than 15 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, was an expert mechanic and an avid fan of Wisconsin Badgers Football. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was also preceded in death in April, by his loving wife of 49 years, Laura Campbell Kubiaczyk; two brothers, Wally and Gene Kubiaczyk and two sisters, Hazel & Helen.
Survivors include his three daughters, Stacey Lynn Kubiaczyk of Rossville, Stefanie Dawn Kubiaczyk and fiancé, (Ron Evans) of Harrison, and Kelly Renee' and (Mike) Jeffery of Rossville; three brothers, Mike, Richard and Jim Kubiaczyk all of Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Ashley Kubiaczyk and (Steven Carter), Michael Jeffery, Sara Dawn Porter and Joe Lee and (Lindi) Porter; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Diana Carter and Tom and Angie Benishek.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Pastor Gary Wilkinson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Calvary Gardens Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. on Sunday, all day, Monday, and prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
