Dr. Qutob Joins Pulmonary Medicine Center

Pulmonary Medicine Center of Chattanooga welcomes Hisham F, Qutob M.D. to the Buz Standefer Lung Center.

Dr. Qutob is a graduate of the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah. He completed his internship, residency and his fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Qutob is board certified.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr.
Qutob to the Buz Standefer Lung Center,” said Nicholas G. Economides, M.D., vice president and physician executive, Mountain Management Services. “The Buz Standefer Lung Center has established a world-class integrated unit of pulmonologist and intensives which marks the standard of care for greater Chattanooga area.”


Pulmonologists diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the lungs and respiratory system including asthma, bronchitis, sleep apnea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, chest infections, cystic fibrosis, lung cancer and many other diseases and conditions. More than 35 million Americans are now living with chronic lung disease.
